1. Introduction and Acceptance
Welcome to www.globalheritageconcierge.com (the “Site”), operated by DOMO Ventures LLC d/b/a Global Heritage Concierge (“GHC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). GHC assists individuals and families in navigating citizenship by descent applications and related heritage-based nationality matters.
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and GHC and govern your access to and use of the Site. By visiting, browsing, or otherwise using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of the Site immediately.
2. Scope of These Terms
These Terms govern your use of the Site only. They do not govern:
- Any professional services engagement between you and GHC (which is subject to a separate engagement letter, retainer, or services agreement);
- Communications or interactions occurring outside the Site (e.g., email, telephone, video conferencing, or in-person meetings following a client engagement); or
- Third-party websites, applications, or services accessible through links on the Site.
3. Eligibility
The Site is intended for individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher). By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are accessing the Site on behalf of a family member, organization, or other person, you represent that you have the authority to do so.
4. No Legal, Immigration, or Professional Advice
The information available on the Site is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not legal advice, immigration advice, tax advice, financial advice, or any other form of professional advice, and no attorney-client, advisor-client, or fiduciary relationship is formed by your use of the Site or by submitting an inquiry through the Site.
- Citizenship-by-descent eligibility, procedures, documentary requirements, processing times, and outcomes vary significantly by country and by individual circumstances, and are subject to change without notice by foreign governments and consular authorities.
- Nothing on the Site should be relied upon as a substitute for individualized professional advice from a qualified attorney, licensed immigration practitioner, or relevant governmental authority.
- GHC does not guarantee any particular outcome, timeline, eligibility determination, or governmental decision.
If you wish to engage GHC’s professional services, a separate written engagement agreement will govern that relationship.
5. Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You agree that you will not:
(a) Use the Site in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation;
(b) Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, our servers, databases, networks, or any connected systems;
(c) Interfere with, disrupt, or degrade the operation, security, or integrity of the Site;
(d) Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, crawlers, or other data-harvesting technologies to access, copy, or index the Site, except as expressly authorized in writing;
(e) Introduce or transmit any virus, malware, worm, trojan, or other malicious code;
(f) Use the Site to send unsolicited communications, spam, or bulk marketing messages;
(g) Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, ancestry, nationality, or eligibility;
(h) Submit false, misleading, fraudulent, or fabricated information, including with respect to family history, genealogical records, or citizenship-related documentation;
(i) Impersonate any person or entity or falsely claim any relationship with GHC or its personnel;
(j) Harass, threaten, defame, or otherwise harm any other person through the Site;
(k) Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Site; or
(l) Use the Site or its content for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.
We reserve the right to investigate potential violations and to take any action we deem appropriate, including restricting access, cooperating with law enforcement, or pursuing legal remedies.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Ownership
All content available on the Site—including without limitation text, articles, guides, country-specific resources, FAQs, graphics, logos, icons, photographs, illustrations, videos, page design, page layout, and the overall “look and feel” of the Site—is owned by or licensed to GHC and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
6.2 Limited License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, GHC grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and view the Site for your own personal, non-commercial informational purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
6.3 Restrictions
You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, translate, publicly display, publicly perform, sell, rent, lease, transfer, or create derivative works from any Site content without our prior written permission, except that you may:
- Download or print individual pages for your personal, non-commercial reference; and
- Share links to publicly available pages of the Site, provided the link does not misrepresent GHC or its content.
6.4 Trademarks
“Global Heritage Concierge,” “GHC,” the GHC logo, and any related names, marks, or slogans are trademarks or service marks of GHC. You may not use these marks without our prior written consent. All other trademarks appearing on the Site are the property of their respective owners.
7. User Submissions
The Site may allow you to submit information through contact forms, request forms, or similar features (“User Submissions”).
7.1 License to GHC
By providing a User Submission, you grant GHC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, display, adapt, and distribute your User Submission in connection with operating, improving, and promoting the Site and our services, subject at all times to our Privacy Policy
7.2 Your Representations
You represent and warrant that:
- Your User Submission is original to you or that you have all necessary rights and permissions to provide it;
- Your User Submission is accurate and not misleading;
- Your User Submission does not infringe, misappropriate, or violate any third party’s intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights; and
- Your User Submission does not contain unlawful, defamatory, harassing, obscene, threatening, or otherwise objectionable content.
7.3 Sensitive Information
Please do not submit sensitive personal information (such as passport numbers, national identification numbers, financial account details, or copies of birth certificates or civil registry records) through Site forms. Such documents should only be shared with GHC through secure channels established during a formal client engagement.
8. Consultation Requests and Communications
Submitting a consultation request, inquiry, or form through the Site does not create a client relationship with GHC. A professional relationship arises only when both parties sign a written engagement letter or services agreement.
If you provide an email address or phone number, you consent to being contacted by GHC in response to your inquiry. Marketing communications, if any, are subject to your consent and to the choices described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Third-Party Links, Content, and Services
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, consular portals, government agencies, translation services, or partner organizations. These links are provided for your convenience only and do not imply endorsement. GHC does not control and is not responsible for the content, policies, availability, or practices of third-party websites. Your interactions with any third-party site or service are governed by that party’s own terms and privacy policy.
10. International Users
The Site is operated from the United States and may be accessed from around the world. GHC makes no representation that Site content is appropriate, lawful, or available for use in any particular jurisdiction. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws. Certain features, information, or services may not be available in all jurisdictions.
11. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information submitted through the Site. Please review the Privacy Policy carefully.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, MATERIALS, INFORMATION, AND SERVICES MADE AVAILABLE ON THE SITE ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
GHC EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, GHC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT:
(a) THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE;
(b) DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED;
(c) THE SITE OR ITS SERVERS ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR HARMFUL COMPONENTS; OR
(d) THE CONTENT ON THE SITE IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, CURRENT, OR RELIABLE.
INFORMATION ABOUT CITIZENSHIP-BY-DESCENT LAWS, PROCEDURES, ELIGIBILITY, AND PROCESSING TIMES IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANY TIME BY FOREIGN GOVERNMENTS AND CONSULAR AUTHORITIES. YOUR RELIANCE ON ANY SITE CONTENT IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL GHC OR ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES—INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OPPORTUNITY, OR ANTICIPATED BENEFIT—ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE) THE SITE OR ITS CONTENT, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF GHC HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL GHC’S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100.00).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, GHC’s liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
14. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GHC and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, demands, actions, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs) arising out of or in connection with:
(a) Your access to or use of the Site;
(b) Your violation of these Terms;
(c) Your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party; or
(d) Any User Submission you provide.
15. Modifications to the Site
GHC reserves the right, at any time and without notice, to modify, suspend, or discontinue all or any portion of the Site (including features, content, or availability). We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time in our sole discretion. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice through the Site. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
17. Termination
We may, in our sole discretion and without prior notice or liability, restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to all or any portion of the Site at any time for any reason, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in full force and effect, including without limitation the sections on Intellectual Property, User Submissions, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law.
18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising under or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Arlington County, Virginia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
If you access the Site from outside the United States, you agree that any dispute will nevertheless be resolved under the laws and in the courts identified above, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that finding will not affect the remaining provisions, which will continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its original intent.
20. Waiver
No waiver of any provision of these Terms will be effective unless in writing and signed by GHC. Any failure by GHC to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
21. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any of your rights or obligations hereunder without our prior written consent. GHC may freely assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
22. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by GHC on the Site, constitute the entire agreement between you and GHC concerning your use of the Site and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and understandings, whether written or oral, regarding such subject matter.
